Monday, November 5th, is the District 7 Livestock Judging Contest in San Angelo. We will have several livestock judging teams going this year. We wish them the best of luck!!
On November 6, 2018, The Hill Country Livestock Raisers Association along with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, Llano County will be hosting a 4-H/FFA Youth Commercial Heifer Pairs Auction. The day will kick off at 10:00 am with "Cattle Nutrition" Program given by Jason Cleere, Beef Cattle Specialist. The day will continue after lunch, catered by Don Paul Freeman, with a preview of the Heifer Pairs and then a live auction at 1:30 pm. For more information and to RSVP, 325.247.5159.
Attention all Llano County 4-H'ers - On Wednesday, October 7, 2018, we will have the office opened for Major & County Livestock Show entries. All Major show entries MUST be done this day. County show entries will continue through the end of November. The office will be opened from 7:00 am - 7 pm. For more information: 325.247.5159.
Sunday, November 11, 2018 is the Llano County 4-H Chicken Fried Steak Luncheon at Schorlemmer Hall behind the St. James Lutheran Church in Llano. Chicken Fried Steak, Green Beans, Potato Casserole, Rolls, & Homemade Desserts along with Tea. We will be serving from 11: to 1:30pm. Dine in or Drive Through Carry Out. Plates are $10.00 per person. Proceeds benefit Llano County 4-H Program.

4-H/FFA Swine Validation is Monday, November 19, 2018 from 3:00pm - 5:00pm at the J.L.K. Events Center. There will be a make up validation the following Monday, November 26, 2018. For more information contact the Extension office at 325.247.5159.

Monday, December 3, 2018 Texas AgriLife Extension, Llano County will hold a Pesticide Applicator Training for Private Applicator's License. It will begin at 8:00am for registration.
